Section 1

We’ll dive into the basics of foraging, including the benefits of wild edibles and how to forage safely and sustainably. You’ll learn how to minimize your impact on the environment while discovering the abundance of delicious foods that nature has to offer.

Section 2

Is all about plant identification. You’ll learn how to identify a mix of the most commonly foraged plants & Fungi including their characteristics, seasonal availability, and culinary uses. You’ll also explore and discover how to safely handle and prepare wild plants.

Section 3

Finally, in Section 3, we’ll cover the ethical considerations of foraging. You’ll learn responsible foraging practices, such as harvesting only what you need, leaving enough for wildlife and future foragers, and avoiding endangered or rare species. You’ll also explore the cultural and historical significance of wild edibles and the role of foraging in sustainable food systems.

Throughout the course, you’ll have access to practical hands-on videos, forager-led presentations, workbooks, and assessments to help you practice what you’ve learned.
